Dinamika Implementasi Organizational Citizenship Behavior Terhadap Persaingan Bisnis Tour Dan Travel (Studi Kasus: PT X Tour dan Travel)

Abstract


Sumber daya manusia merupakan aset penting demi keberlangsungan hidup perusahaan. Suatu perusahaan dapat tumbuh dan berkembang dengan sumber daya manusia yang mampu berperan sebagai agen perubahan. Sehingga keberhasilan suatu perusahaan turut dipengaruhi oleh karyawannya yang tidak hanya berkompeten dalam pekerjaannya, tetapi juga bersedia mencurahkan waktu dan tenaganya untuk membantu pekerjaan di luar tanggung jawab formal organisasi atau perusahaan. Kesediaan untuk berkontribusi di luar deskripsi pekerjaan ini dikenal sebagai Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Pada penelitian ini, terdapat dua pokok permasalahan secara eksternal dan internal perusahaan yaitu kompetisi dalam era globalisasi ini cukup ketat dan problematika internal yang dirasakan karyawan terhadap perusahaan. Dengan demikian, peneliti tertarik untuk menginvestigasi permasalahan yang dihadapi perusaahan terhadap dinamika implementasi OCB dalam lingkungan perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa implementasi OCB dalam perusahaan telah berjalan dengan baik melalui aspek altruism, courtesy, civic virtue, sportsmanship, conscientiousness, meskipun terdapat beberapa hambatan pada salah satu penerapan aspek dalam OCB. Sehingga diharapkan pihak manajemen mampu memberikan dukungan dan memotivasi dalam peran ekstra yang dilakukan karyawan. Selain itu perlunya memahami kebutuhan karyawan dalam memberikan penghargaan berupa insentif yang sesuai, untuk memotivasi karyawan melakukan OCB pada perusahaan demi keberlangsungan hidup perusahaan dalam menghadapi persaingan.
