Analisis dan Pengukuran Beban Kerja di Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract


Konsekuensi dari suatu pekerjaan adalah timbulnya beban kerja, baik secara fisik maupun mental. Literatur Ilmu Manajemen menyatakan bahwa beban kerja yang terlalu tinggi berkorelasi dengan penurunan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat beban kerja pegawai di KPW Bank Indonesia Sulawesi Selatan dengan menggunakan metode pengukuran beban kerja mental NASA-TLX dengan sampel sebanyak 40 pegawai. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji chi-square untuk melihat hubungan antara beban kerja dengan kinerja pegawai di KPW Bank Indonesia Sulawesi Selatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata beban kerja pegawai tergolong sangat tinggi. Namun beban kerja yang tinggi tidak berkorelasi secara signifikan dengan kinerja karyawan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa walaupun beban kerja pegawai pada KPW Bank Indonesia Sulawesi Selatan tergolong sangat tinggi, namun kinerja yang diberikan pegawai juga sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini juga menyarankan untuk menambah tenaga kerja, menyediakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, dan membagi tenaga kerja secara efisien dan efektif antar karyawan.
