Literasi Keuangan Digital dan Kesejahteraan Finansial sebagai Fondasi Financial Behavior Generasi Z: Implikasi Kebijakan di Kota Medan

Kemajuan teknologi keuangan digital telah membawa transformasi yang substansial terhadap pola perilaku keuangan Generasi Z, terutama dalam praktik pengelolaan keuangan pribadi di tengah dinamika ekonomi digital. Situasi ini menuntut individu untuk tidak hanya menguasai pengetahuan keuangan digital secara memadai, tetapi juga memiliki tingkat financial well-being yang baik sebagai fondasi dalam membentuk perilaku keuangan yang sehat, rasional, dan bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pengetahuan keuangan digital dan financial well-being terhadap financial behavior pada Generasi Z di Kota Medan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner terstruktur kepada Generasi Z yang secara aktif memanfaatkan layanan keuangan digital. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) untuk menguji hubungan antarvariabel laten secara simultan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pengetahuan keuangan digital dan financial well-being berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial behavior. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi pemahaman individu terhadap sistem dan layanan keuangan digital serta semakin baik tingkat kesejahteraan finansial yang dirasakan, maka semakin bijak dan bertanggung jawab pula perilaku keuangannya. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran lembaga keuangan, pemerintah, dan institusi pendidikan dalam merancang program literasi keuangan digital yang terintegrasi dengan upaya peningkatan kesejahteraan finansial Generasi Z. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam perumusan kebijakan literasi keuangan digital serta strategi pengelolaan keuangan yang berkelanjutan bagi generasi muda.
